raysgigs.com screenshotRay Morrisey approached me as his old but very popular website, Ray's Gigs, was about to stop working due to his web host switching off support for MySQL4, which the website was based on.

I worked to migrate the database over to new MySQL5.5 technology without losing any of the music reviews stretching back to 2002, or the database of gigs Ray has attended since 1973.

Once complete, I redesigned the entire site and improved the SEO rating by over 20% compared to the old site. I also added a number of new sections of the site to allow Ray to expand into reviews of restaurants, fashion shows, places to visit and more.
