beingdena.com screenshotMy colleague at BBC Persian TV, Dena, has been blogging about fashion, lifestyle and luxury items for a number of years but had never had a website to call her own.

She was relying on WordPress' default templates but wanted a custom design to make her blog stand out and attract fashion houses and companies, whose products she independently reviews on her blog.

On her new .com, I installed WordPress and imported over 500 posts and thousands of comments, and then set about designing a clean, simple site which gives photos and reviews the most impact.

I also added a social community to the blog, with links to Twitter, Bloglovin' and Wikio, as well as utilising Feedburner's services for RSS and email updates.

Dena said about the site: "I can really recommend Stuart. He is very capable and incredibly patient which is what you need when designing a new website."

She went on, "I also found him extremely reliable which means if you have a deadline he is going to make sure the site is up and running by then."

Dena concluded, "I am so happy with the job he did on my site and cannot recommend him enough. I know I will be using his services again."
